I’ve planted over 300 native Irish trees on our land, and being out there has been good for my head. That change has gradually found its way into my painting.

Pareidolia describes our instinct to find familiar forms in unexpected places. In these paintings, faces, figures and shapes emerge from layers of colour, gesture and botanical abstraction. They appear, dissolve and re-form as your eye moves across the work.

What one person sees might be completely different from what someone else finds.
